Kushi Publishing, Inc. is proud to release an enhanced digital and online version of the only LP vinyl album ever released by Michio Kushi, “Spirals Of Everlasting Change”, containing 7-tracks of high quality audio recording.  “Spirals Of Everlasting Change” was originally produced and released in November, 1975 by John J. Bellicchi (INYO International) and contains music by Steve Shapiro.

Among these recordings Michio reminisces about his youth, his meeting with George Ohsawa and explains what initially started him on his quest for world peace. Michio also provides his timeless outlines of his world view including the order of the foods we should be eating, understanding yin and yang and the laws of change in order that we may find health, happiness and the understanding needed to create One Peaceful World.

This digital version includes a full read-along transcript transcribed by Marc Van Cauwenberghe.  The analog to digital audio conversion was done by Tenji Kushi, and the final audio-visual digital presentation was put together by Phiya Kushi.  We hope you will enjoy these timeless words of wisdom from Michio Kushi.

On July 9, 1999, Michio Kushi was invited by Representative Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio) to testify before the House Government Reform Committee on the subject of Cancer Treatment for Woman. Also testifying at the same time was Priscilla Mack, wife of Senator Connie Mack, and of “Race For The Cure” fame . Committee Chair,Representative Dan Burton (R- Illinois) presides.  Chris Akbar assists Michio. (Note: C-Span spells his name wrong and Rep. Judy Biggert calls him “Mr. SUSHI!”)

Available here for free (and on the Kushi Institute website) is Michio Kushi’s 59-page booklet and guide: “Macrobiotic Dietary Recommendations” originally published in the 1980s. The booklet provides a generalized template of his macrobiotic dietary and lifestyle recommendations that he further tailored when counseling individuals with specific issues.  This booklet can provide you with a general outline of Michio’s macrobiotic approach.  If you are suffering from any serious illness, it is recommended that you consult your physician as well as see a qualified macrobiotic counselor to help address your specific needs.
